Welcome! My name is Sarah Louise Shutt and I teach 11th grade English & ACE First Year Experience at Campbell-Savona High School in the Finger Lakes Region of NY. I am also an aspiring Adirondack 46er with an insatiable desire to explore and to share those experiences with my friends and students alike.
In 2014 I was a Teachers for Global Classrooms Fellow and had the opportunity to visit Bogota and Cartagena, Colombia where I learned about Colombian culture and worked in schools alongside some of Colombia's finest teachers. This year I was selected as a Grosvenor Teacher Fellow with National Geographic & Lindblad Expeditions, which was a tremendous honor for me because I have enjoyed learning from National Geographic since I was a little girl. This site is a place for me to share my expedition, reflections, trips with students, and resources with all of you. |
